Ventaluz is a cooperation between Haufschildt Optik GmbH and the Lightsignalmedia Group — an optical trade practice and a Cologne web studio building digital infrastructure for local business, together.
Our stance
We build for the street, not for investor rounds.
Two independent houses stand behind Ventaluz: Haufschildt Optik GmbH — for years a partner for optical machines, service and shopfitting — and the Lightsignalmedia Group, a small, self-funded studio from Cologne that develops tools for local retail.
Whatever we deliver, we have to be able to support it ourselves, at night if need be. Whatever we promise, we have to keep. That makes us slower than others — and more reliable.
At Ventaluz that means: a named contact instead of a ticket system. On-site service when it matters. Software that has worked since day one, instead of roadmap promises.
A cooperation brand of two complementary houses — one from optical and shop-window practice, one from digital tool development. Together we build Ventaluz: digital shop windows for local businesses.

Three principles that are not up for negotiation.

What good is the finest software if the screen stays dark on a Sunday morning and nobody picks up the phone? We pick up the phone. On Sundays, too.
Local is not small.
The bakery around the corner matters as much as the retail chain. We build tools that work for both — without the small bakery ever feeling like it is asking for favours.
